Quetzilla is a French painter and muralist from the visual arts and urban arts whose particularity is to make the figurative abstract. Inspired among others by the paintings of the Englishman Clive Head, he works from a superposition of photos by mixing opacities and transparencies to bring movement to his painting. What interests Quetz is to destabilize the visual sense of the spectator in order to create several readings and bring a unique look at what he sees. His subjects are the reflection of his daily life, his experiences and his travels. Since his first cassettes and CDs, hip hop, urban culture and music in general, have taken a considerable place in the artist's life. Quetzilla has created art covers for several rappers such as Mattic, Henry Canyons and Homeboy Sandman.
